To test the different types of polishing systems, 80 ceramic discs were prepared and randomly divided into four groups. In each group, one disc was cut with a fine diamond bur and polished by one of four different polishing systems. Surface roughness was measured quantitatively using a Profilometer and qualitatively using SEM.
